The Bayfield Marshals Office provides enforcement of all state and local laws. The hardworking Marshal, Deputies,
and Animal Control Officer are charged with keeping law and order in our great little Town. The Bayfield Marshals
are friendly, helpful and available for Bayfield residents.
The Marshal's Office maintains a high visibility at all of the Bayfield schools and they hold informational meetings
with local businesses to discuss security issues and how to better protect themselves. Citizens, businesses or neighborhoods can initiate these meetings to address and become more informed on a variety of different topics.
However safe you might feel and be in Bayfield, the Marshal's Office wants to continue sending a message of awareness. Becoming familiar with your surroundings at all times and maintaining a constant state of awareness will help you notice suspicious persons, activities and will better prepare you to help the officers. This awareness begins on an individual level and increases in effectiveness when neighborhoods and towns practice it as a whole.
If you need to get in touch with the Marshal, a Deputy, or the Animal Control Officer,
their office is located in the New Town Hall Building
1199 US Highway 160B.
They can also be reached by phone or email.
