Trash & Yard Waste

• Town of Bayfield contracts with WCA for curbside residential trash collection. Trash is collected Thursday each week. Please have your carts at the curb by 7:00AM.
• For current Trash rates click here.  
• Trash may also be taken directly to La Plata County's Bayfield Transfer Station 4496 CR 223, 970-382-6376, or Bondad Landfill, 1500 CR 318.

Paint Care Program

• Paint Care is a program that allows users to drop off unneeded paints other items that are not allowed in trash or recycling.
• Visit the Paint Care Website for more information and to find a local drop off location.

Recycling

• Please Note: Town of Bayfield no longer provides recycling service through Town billing.
• Residents and businesses may contract directly with curbside recyclers.
