Orchard Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment

Project # 2024-05

The Bayfield Planning Commission and Board of Trustees shall hold public hearings concerning the following request:

  • A request from SMG Orchard LLC property owner and applicant for the Orchard Planned Unit Development (PUD) that was approved by the Town of Bayfield in May, 2022. 
  • The applicants are proposing to amend their PUD to reduce their density from 9 single-family residences and 5 townhome units (a total of 14-units), to 9 single-family residences and 4 townhome units (a total of 13-units). 
  • The Orchard PUD is located on the corner of Orchard Drive and Clover Drive. 
  • Legal Description:  Lot 1 of the Orchard, Resubdivision of Lot 9 of Bayfield Industrial Park Phase One per Plat #1211429. Parcel # 567712209044.

The public hearings are to be held before the Bayfield Planning Commission on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 6:30pm, and before the Board of Trustees on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 6:30pm, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The public hearing shall be held in the Town Hall, 1199 Bayfield Parkway, Bayfield, Colorado, or at such other time or place in the event this hearing is adjourned.  Further information is available through the Town of Bayfield at (970) 884-9544.
